Indian national capital Delhi” the heart of India surrounded by three sides from Haryana and from the east Uttar Pradesh. With all the features of a metropolitan city carrying the load of 25 million people the area covered is 1,484 square kilometers. The second most populated city after Mumbai and the most urban agglomeration in India and the third largest urban area in the world.  This city gives you the real history of India with various empires residuals from medieval period to modern Delhi. It has been captured, ransacked and rebuilt many times. Through most of its history Delhi has been served as the capital of various kingdoms and empires.  The area around Delhi was probably inhabited before the second millennium BC and there is evidence of continuous inhabitation since at least the 6th century BC. The city is believed to be the site of Indraprastha, the legendary capital of the Pandavas in the Indian epic Mahabharata. The Government of India and the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi jointly administer New Delhi, where both bodies are located. The Parliament of India, the Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential Palace), Cabinet Secretariat and the Supreme Court of India are located in the municipal district of New Delhi. There are 70 assembly constituencies and seven Lok Sabha (Indian parliament’s lower house) constituencies in Delhi.

India Gate: This master piece is a symbol of all the soldiers and heroes who lost their lives fighting for making India free from British rulers in 1947. This piece of art is rising 42mts designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens at one end of Rajpat stands the India Gate. India Gate holds a special stone archway instantly ignites a feeling of patriotism and thus is a major tourist place in Delhi. Also the name of all the unknown freedom fighters is incarnated on the wall of this master piece as the sign of “All India War Memorial”. Carrying the name 82,000 soldiers India Gate is open every day. Amar Jawan Jyoti, or the flame of the immortal soldier, is a structure consisting of black marble plinth, with reversed L1A1 Self-loading rifle, capped by war helmet, bound by four urns, each with the permanent light (jyoti) from (CNG) flames, erected under the India Gate. Ideal for picnic with children’s park over the 10 acre of land with various activities like swings, theatre, musical fountain and an aquarium which will soothe your child’s body and mind.
red fort
Red Fort: The main resident of The Akbar Red Fort had been the main fort for Mughal dynasty for about 200 years. Located in the heart of Delhi it is the house of number of museums of emperors and their households  it was the ceremonial and political centre of the Mughal state and the setting for events critically impacting the region. The fort was constructed in 1963 by Shah Jahan as the palace of his fortified capital of Shahjahanbad. The Red Fort is named for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone. With the most surviving architecture in its campus like Lahori Gate, Delhi Gate, Water Gate, Naubat Khana, Diwan-i-Aam, Mumtaj Mahal and Rang Mahal and the light and sound show in evening adores the Red Fort to its post.  Ideal tourist place attracting number of individuals to define its beauty the fort is open 6 days in a week which is from Tuesday to Sunday.
Qutub Minar
Qutub Minar : 73 meters brick minaret the second highest minaret in India made by the founder of Delhi sultanate Qutub al-Din Aibak started construction in 1220 which after him continued by  his son-in law who completed it in 1369.  Ancient and medieval monuments surrounding it naming it as Qutub Complex. Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque and make your wishes come true by circling your hands around a 7m high iron pillar enclosed within it.

Hauz Khas Complex : Hauz resembles water tank and Khas resembles royal so Hauz Khas resemblance of royal water tank an Islamic seminary a mosque and a tomb which was made by  medieval Delhi Sultanate Allauddin Khilji Dynasty . The notable structures built by Firuz Shah on the eastern and northern side of the reservoir consisted of the Madrasa (Islamic School of Learning – a theological college), the small Mosque, the Main tomb for himself and six domed pavilions in its precincts, which were all built between 1352 and 1354 A.D. The structure includes Madrasa , Mosque and Firoz Shah’s Tomb . In it is surrounded by Deer Park you can see the deer’s wandering around the complex with rabbits and Guinea Pigs.  Also explore the Hauz Khas market holding lavish boutiques and club houses for refreshments.
Lotus temple
Lotus Temple:  Notable for its flowerlike shape, it serves as the Mother Temple of the Indian Subcontinent and has become a prominent attraction in the city. Like all Baha’i Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion or any other qualification. The building is composed of 27 free-standing marble-clad “petals” arranged in clusters of three to form nine sides with nine doors opening onto a central hall with height of slightly over 40 meters  and a capacity of 2,500 people.
Connaught place
Connaught PlaceOne of the largest financial, commercial and business centres in New Delhi, India. It is often abbreviated to CP and houses the headquarters of several noted Indian firms. The main commercial area of the new city, New Delhi, during the erstwhile British Raj, its environs occupy a place of pride in the city and are counted among the top heritage structures in New Delhi. It was developed as a showpiece of Lutyen’s Delhi with a prominent Central Business District. Followed by Janpath market the hub of all the college students and popular in the youngsters with apparels at reasonable rates and a central park on the heart of Connaught place resembling India’s flag and beautifully surrounded fountains and birds.
