“Indian national capital Delhi” the heart of India surrounded by three sides from Haryana and from the east Uttar Pradesh. The second most populated city after Mumbai and the most urban agglomeration in India and the third largest urban area in the world. Through most of its history Delhi has been served as the capital of various kingdoms and empires. The area around Delhi was probably inhabited before the second millennium BC and there is evidence of continuous inhabitation since at least the 6th century BC. The city is believed to be the site of Indraprastha, the legendary capital of the Pandavas in the Indian epic Mahabharata. Red Fort: The main resident of The Akbar Red Fort had been the main fort for Mughal dynasty for about 200 years. The fort was constructed in 1963 by Shah Jahan as the palace of his fortified capital of Shahjahanbad. The Red Fort is named for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone.
